In a public presentation on Tuesday 28 June, 2011, the World Council of Churches released a paper on the conduct of mission entitled "Christian Witness in a Multi-Religious World: Recommendations for Conduct". The paper was the culmination of five years of consultation between the WCC, the Pontifical Council for Inter-religious Dialogue and the World Evangelical Alliance.
