Twelve religious groups, including the Federation of Australian Buddhist Councils, the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils, the Hindu Council of Australia, Friends of Refugees of Eastern Europe, and UnitingCare NSW.ACT called for prison reform in NSW prior to the March 26 state election.
