Congratulations to Mohini Gunasekera

The Uniting Church in Australia, National Assembly Working Group on Relations with Other Faiths would like to congratulate Mohini Gunasekera on being admitted to the Order of Australia this year for service to the Sri Lankan community, to Buddhism through leadership and support of a range of organisations, and to interfaith dialogue.

In particular, we would like to acknowledge Mohini’s deep commitment to the Women’s Interfaith Network, and to the Federation of Buddhist Councils of Australia. Her dedication to interfaith dialogue and relations is truly appreciated, and we look forward to our paths continuing to cross in these contexts in the future.
